LBC Development Bank unveils another deposit product
LBC Development Bank launched its yet another pioneering deposit product in the industry last June 1, 2009 called LBC Bank Royal Premium Account or RPA. As a passbook-based term account, the LBC Bank RPA allows the customer to transact numerous deposits and withdrawals during the term without the worries of unnecessary fees. Aside from the very appealing interest rate especially to customers who placed short-term deposits, the passbook enables the customer a timely monitoring of account movements. The Bank, in response to the new law, began updating all its deposit paraphernalia like passbooks, certificates, standees, decals and marketing collaterals that bears the old insurance coverage. Likewise, employees were reminded about the new provisions of the law especially on splitting of deposits, among others. LBC Development Bank moves to landmark site
LBC Development Bank – Cebu branch has finally moved to its new home last April 25, 2009. The event was attended by officers from head office which was led by Ms. Ma. Eliza V. Gonzalez, the Bank’s Chairperson, President and CEO. Councilor Jack Jakosalem was the Bank’s branch inauguration Guest of Honor, who encouraged more investments in Cebu despite the economic crunch as he stressed full confidence about the country’s resilience more specifically in Cebu province.

The Bank-owned property, which sits at a major intersection of Gorordo and Archbishop Reyes streets, a convergence of the streets’ two-way traffic, enjoys visibility from all angles for vehicular and foot traffic alike. The new Bank branch enjoys its strategic location as it is within the two roads that have distinguished Catholic Church history and notably as well, beside a prominent Catholic Church, the Asilo de Milagrosa Church. Additionally, the branch is within walking distance from a popular shopping center.

As the building also houses a sister company’s sales and corporate office, LBC Express Inc., it was coincidentally a double blessing ceremonies for both by the invited officiating priest, Rev. Fr. William C. Borces of the Blessed Sacrament Parish Church.

LBC Development Bank – Cebu branch is located at Casa LBC, corner Gorordo and Archbishop Reyes Avenues, Cebu City 6000 Philippines with telephone numbers: +63 32 231-1033 and +63 32 231-1034.

Having the theme “Pagtupad sa Dakilang Pangako (Fulfilling the Noble Promise)”, the LBC Development Bank – Davao team joined the Parada Dabawenyo from Magsaysay Ave. to Quimpo Blvd. last March 16 with head office representatives.

LBC Development Bank launches unique deposit product
LBC Development Bank unveiled its one-of-a-kind deposit product last February 16, 2009 at the Bank’s head office in Makati City. Called “Ultima Account”, it is the only passbook-based savings account with an ATM facility and a 4% p.a. interest rate. The passbook enables the customer a timely monitoring of deposits, withdrawals and posting of other transactions like interest. The ATM card provides the customer convenience and easy access to funds anytime, anywhere which can also be used as payment facility for purchases in a wider reach of accredited merchants at affordable service charges.

The deposit product's distinctive features are considered pioneering due to its flexibility and attractive yields. While others offer modest interest rates in both their savings and time deposit accounts, adding to the fact that these other products only offer limited features, the Ultima Account broke those barriers for the customers’ benefit, with just an initial deposit of P10,000.

To maximize the Ultima Account’s potential to the customers, it has been included in the Bank’s ongoing LBC Bank Lucky Year! Lucky You! promotional campaign which commenced last February 2, 2009. The promotion details can be found in all LBC Development Bank branches nationwide and at its website: www.lbcbank.com.ph.
